Drivers packet or not ?

That won't fully work as often yorks of work will get condensed when being loaded onto the lorries for the DO runs. Probbaly the drivers will bung some of the large into the sleeves as well.

We only scan Tracked and SDs in MCs so I don't know how they expect the system to know what's been sorted to what york

No honestly we were gathered out the front and told this what was happening come our revision.

Oversize parcels are segregated according to a template.
We cannot band parcels together to make them oversize.

You're not using 'THE' template are you!

On a note, nothing wrong with bundling up a ton of parcels for num 102, that has always been the norm.
Weird it's not at your place. And why are others stopping it?

Years ago there was a template that fitted over a DBF. We are not using that.
We have a box with lines drawn on it.

The ban on bundling parcels together may be due to the huge backlog of parcels in the office (along with the huge backlog of letters and failed D2D) Some have been sitting there for 2/3 weeks.

There is a template. I've seen it. It's not like the DBF one, but a cardboard box with a hatched area inside to indicate what is a Dedicated Parcel Route packet, and what's not.

There's nothing on it about doubling up parcels for the same address though (though, why not?).

Whoever was the planner for your revision might be able to get hold of the template and send one to your office.

So we had our revision,
One of the problems is when putting packets out for the driver,
They are simply returning the items back to the fitting frames because ( apparently ) your not supposed to be
Matching up 3 or 4 packets to make a large enough one for the driver, is this correct ?
Any feedback would be appreciated .

If it's a long driveway I've added the letters to the packets as well (and I'll take them when I'm the driver too).

Also if it's an oversize for one of our terraced housing areas and there's say a 'half' oversize box for next
door we'll take them both too - then there's a fair chance you're likely to get rid of one to the neighbour
if the other isn't in - 'I've got this for you, do you mind taking this for next door too?'

Depends on how well you get on with your immediate colleagues I suppose.....

Huh? So you go to the address then a bit later a van driver is paid to go there too, when you have room in your van for it? Couldn't write it.

Doesnt matter if theres room in the van or if going to the door anyway, it takes time to deliver parcels and it can be time thats not there
