I’m guessing she has some sort of medication issue - either too much or not enough. She’s rambling and seems unable to draw logical inferences.

Sorry but I don’t rate the “collect from postie idea”. Some streets I work in parking the van would be like an ice cream man pulling up. The “have you got anything for number …” brigade are bad enough.

This Amazon delivery driver voiced the exact same suggestions I've spoken to with my residential and business customers: Put a number on your property! You may need it for an emergency!

Mirror (Sept. 4, 2021) ~ Amazon Delivery Driver Warns of Common Mistakes Outside Homes That 'Put Lives at Risk'

A delivery driver has become a social media sensation after leaving a warning on a doorbell camera about house numbers while dropping off a parcel - and she's got plenty more safety tips to share
Is your home clearly numbered or does it have a sign showing off the property name? If the answer is no, you might want to consider finding a way to display your number outside as soon as possible - as it could save your life one day.

This warning comes from a caring Amazon delivery driver from the US who was captured on a doorbell camera explaining why it's important to have house markers. The 28-year-old is named Kelsey and she has been sharing other safety and crisis prevention tips on her account, where she has amassed thousands of followers in just a few days as people are loving her attitude.

In a follow-up video, she shared another look at the original doorbell clip and explained: "Just one thing that I notice when I walk up to households baby. Unclear entrances and exits, what if you need to leave your house or EMS needs to come into your house? Thinking about clear pathways, I oftentimes see a lot of bikes, like kids bikes next to the front doors, that scares me."

I'd be pissed off if I lived in Nechells too, to be fair. About everything. All the time.

ME. ME. ME. ME. ME.
The world revolves around me in my soundproofed house where I cannot hear my postman knocking on the door. (probably without a number on it which is why they keep being sent back).

So I had an item that required a signature for a customer with the surname WHITE. When I inputted the name to the PDA I must have inadvertently hit the S instead of the W....well I don't need to spell it out for you do I? :chuckle
Luckily, I noticed before I went through to the signature capture screen....

Take a look at some of her other uploads, see if you spot any unusual advert requests

Does anyone else deliver to addresses where after you knock, the dog goes mental, but it takes an age for the resident to catch on there's a reason the dogs barking at the front door? 'Oh sorry, didn't realise you were out here' EVERY. DANG. DAY. with the same house :arrrghhh

One suspended for wilful delay today.
Update!
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Update!
The individual is back at work. A few strange stories floating around.
Not 100% sure which manager suspended the person involved.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
