Just sayin...
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

No sight nor sound of a revision in our office - we were in Cat 1 in the excel spreadsheet which I think represented
WIPWH figures, so minor tweaks or whatever is required.
I think management are just dragging their heels so they don't have to pay the pay rise,
not so good for the PT'ers.

Isn’t there meant to be 400 structural revisions done by end of October? It’s not going too well if only 43 have been done up to now. Our office is having structural but it’s all went silent so god knows what’s going on.

Our structural revision is in and its chaos. More mail being left undelivered than in the height of the pandemic.

Structural revisions need planners involvement and in our area there has been a lack of planners to assist the process that is very detailed and requires alot of time.
Our unit implemented its Table Top two months ago, apparently we running over budget every week, and still failing work
Due for a structural revision next year but with the pace that it is going i can not see that happening
Just saying

That’s the deadline the union gave the business for the shorter working week. We will be lucky (unlucky) to get ours by then.Chelseablue wrote: ↑13 Aug 2021, 20:44Why the hurry before october ? Strange when xmas period not that far off?

Realignment at Bristol Mail Centre resulted in about 30 new full time duties. Part timers could move into full time roles. Lack of tug drivers will see an agency worker given a full time post on nights. Duties have actually been advertised for everyone to apply. Even two acting manager vacancies on earlies were advertised, not just given to friends ands arse ki**ers. I went to see my new duty up on the board along with the other hundreds of duties. It was all very open and honest. I hardly recognise the place, except for two managers who ensure the culture is still there.
