Regardless of when you take your NRA60/65 pensions, you will receive them for the rest of your life. On death, a pension of 50% will continue to be paid to your spouse.Sputters2017 wrote: ↑16 Jul 2021, 12:09Hi can anyone please tell me if you take them at 60 /65 how long you get nr60 and nr65 for . The RMPP website is full of info on how it works: https://www.royalmailpensionplan.co.uk/
You will also get the state pension when you reach the relevant age, which is currently 66, rising to 67 between 2026 and 2028.
The increase to 68 hasn't been confirmed, but is expected to be between 2037 and 2039.
