Hi guys, I am in section C, Joined in 1988, Aged 58.
I last had a pension estimate two years ago and I got sent all my figures at the time, I wanted to get a more recent figure and called up RMPP in Sheffield as before and requested an estimate.
This time they have sent my 60 & 65 figures (which are very low) So I am guessing I have to contact Capita for the bulk of my pension?
Not contacted them before so where do I go?
Also what about the cash balance scheme?

Yes capita will administer the bulk of your pension (rmsps) plus you will have a amount from the cash balance scheme since 2018 which can be used to fund your lump sum.

Since November 2019 Capita is your point of contact for all your RMSPS benefits, which is all pension accrued up to 31st March 2012.

What about it?
Most if not all of it will be paid out alongside your NRA65 benefits, which the RMPP are largely responsible for.

The 'official' value of the DBCBS will be communicated to you when you decide you want to take your pension benefits.
But it's very easy to work out fairly accurate estimates yourself.

But we know from some of the posts on this forum that Capita are crap, so it's not a bad idea to have contact details if you need to get in touch with them directly.

I got my figures from Capita, So I didn't need to get in contact with them.

They are saying 3 months, but I would take that with a pinch of salt!
