Re: Nra65 and promotion
As per the changes that took place on 1st April 2014:
Any promotional pay awards while members stay in their 31 March 2014 “Pay Grade Grouping” (or PGG for short) flow through to increase both Career Salary Defined Benefit (CSDB) pensionable pay and Final Salary pensionable pay
Any promotional pay awards if members move to a higher PGG than applicable at 31 March 2014 flow through to increase CSDB pensionable pay but do not increase Final Salary pensionable pay

So in 2017 I moves to professional driving. Does that mean the increase in basic pay I get does not go towards my final salary. I have not taken any benefits yet

Re: Nra65 and promotion
What does your last pension statement have as your pensionable pay for the nra 60?
Is it the same as the pensionable pay for the CBDBS? If it isn’t then your final salary pensionable pay will be from when you were an amateur driver.

In my opinion your 2017 and 2018 statements are likely to tell you more. If there's an increase in final salary pay and pension over and above inflation, then your FS pay was increased due to your increased wages.
The pensionable pay on the last statements from RMSPS and RMPP are in a different format from each other!
