READERS have praised the owners of a post office celebrating 10 years in the trade.
Linda and Kevin Lawrence have operated Barrow's Oxford Street post office since 2011 and have also been working with their daughter Claire.
They are now celebrating a decade in charge and look forward to many more successful years in the shop that they have grown and expanded on year by year.
Linda, who has taken on the role of sub-postmistress, said: “Me and my husband bought it ten years ago and it’s been an incredible experience for us.
“We’ve been through so many trials to make it into the place it is today.
“Back in 2015 we were under threat of being closed due to the changes in the contracts, so Kevin, who has a background in IT, went back into that which provided us with some financial stability so we could move forward."
