Offices where the above is going on (I work in one) have been hung out to dry by the union. On one hand the union have blocked those working from home from doing any more than a 4 hour delivery on health and safety grounds), but they then turn a blind eye (despite being made fully aware) to management instructing staff to leave at 8:30am on a duty with 2-3 days worth of mail.
