My Parcel update story numer 2
When I posted last week to explain I was told to ring Monday10th cuz nothing can be done over wkend so I ring up my main delivery office speak to a postie he says I will get the manager, I expalin he says I will pass your details onto the manager but I thought the guy who answered the phone went to get the manager, so I wait 3 days for a phone call no call. During Monday I speak to my walking postie real good guy explained yeah I know whats happened the lady who covered my round came to this morning and said i didnt post this my parcel sat morning bearing in mind I did a redelivery for Sat 8th he was really mad. so as time goes on Wednesday comes aroud my postie said i am really sorry to say this it wont be delivered until Thursday so I ring Thursday morning to speak to the manager 21 calls I made at work trying to get through, yeah they get delivered so I see my postie yep they have come did you get your main parcel I was looking for? oh no its not here well he said I have seen it it must be still on the van sh*t so friday morning yesterday I get through to a postie can I speak to the manager its his day off ring sat morning I have bin ringing but tried ringing from nine o clock no answer so I have no idea where my parcel is plus other I have order or my family has.

Wow, what a shambles. In my office we have not so much a packet baklog, more a packet mountain. Not enough drivers, not enough hours. We're delivering parcels on Sunday again, we've got about 10 crews doing 5-6 hours each. Hope it's the same in your neck of the woods. Unfortunately RM seem to forget that Christmas happens at the same time EVERY YEAR. I'd be pretty annoyed if I had no joy after 1 phone call, they seem to expect you to live your life around them. I'd phone customer services and complain, then complain again and again, it's the only thing that they understand. If it comes to paying compensation for late delivery or delivering your parcel it'll arrive before you put the phone down. Hope it gets sorted out quickly.
