Death Benefit.
Is there some sort of death benefit after you take the pension and leave Royal Mail. Thanks.

So assuming you're in the RMPP, then see here:

Alternately, if you're in the DC scheme, then what is left when you die will depend on you're previous choices, i.e whether you chose to draw down your fund or buy an annuity with it.

I took my pension at age 60 nearly 2 years ago I recently asked the pension people about my death benefit and was there are many complex factors to the value of a death benefit payment so it is not possible to give a figure in advance BIG HELP They did say to phone them to discuss it which I have yet to do
