Online voting for Agreement

Post by Woody Guthrie »

Couldn't get directly on to the site using the address for some reason but scanned the QR code and that worked.

Job done.

Download a free QR code scanner and scan the code. It will take you straight to it.

The security code(s) can only be used once.

Use them online and the paper version would be rejected.

Some people may have concern over security. In previous votes there was always questions over whether the Union received all returned ballots.

Some may be wanting to save the Union money.

There are probably other reasons as well, but people have a choice now which is a progression of sorts from previous agreements.

With the decline In post why would any union that represents the postal service push a digital vote to give free promotion to that service

Because a postal vote is done using a pre paid envelope which, I assume, has to be paid for by the union. Also to encourage the biggest turnout possible.

How does it save the union money in that the postage paid envelope is included in the pack or do they only get charged if it is used?
