Because for whatever reason I owed them about £55, but had uniform allowance to offset it a little.

I first rang Hr who referred me to pensions.
I didn't need to do that, it was newbie.
When I rang HR again they said it was automatic and for many the first they know about the £750 is when it lands in their bank account minus the tax and national insurance.
Although, I would always ring both (I did).

Guess leaving as I have. Taking the NR65 early at a later date perhaps within a month or so would not count? Its ironic that you have take the NRA65 early (unless you were coming up to 65) and leave to qualify for this payment. Which is technically to seek financial advice on retirement. Supposing their advice was whatever you do don't take a pension early!

Yes they give you money for advice after you no longer need it.
Or have to stump up the cash from your own pocket first.
Of course you don't have to use it for advice.
