If we've not heard anything by the end of the day il be leaving the union. I don't intend to work for this s**t company for much longer anyway and I am willing to take a significant pay cut to find employment elsewhere. I dread going into work these days. It's no way to live. 13 years iv been with RM. May as well be one day with the level of respect and loyalty they show staff. They say a companies best asset is its staff and no truer is that the case than with RM. Someone should tell management. They clearly never got the memo.

Unlikely to be a deal this side of Christmas from what I've heard. Sticking points on productivity and how it's measured etc. 2 year pay deal but not more than was offered by Bach.

We all know there wont be a deal before xmas as it has to be voted on.
People are annoyed at the constant promises of updates that don't happen.
Last Friday and I quote TP- " Next week we are committed to concluding an agreement and communicating further with our Representatives and members."
Quite frankly I think he's taking the piss now.
Ok you don't have a deal and there are probably lots of reasons why- but for God's sake tell us what's happening!!!

The week is not over yet. Who knows? If we ae really lucky Terry may release another picture of himself looking mean and moody...... that alone must be worth more than the 2 grand plus that he is paid out of the memberships subs each week.

They got the memo...... they just filed it under the section "waste paper bin".

Give yourself a bigger pay rise by doing that aswell than these useless union negotiators will get us.

You do realise that 6 percent was based on us signing up to the following

12 thousand job losses
Accepting Royal Mail’s parcel strategy ie 300 offices
Later starts
No sick pay for the first 5 years
Allowing all new digital technology to resource to and linked to what your paid
Flexibility Clause around finishing
6 hour delivery span
Everyone on 1 in 6 attendance pattern
No appeals on conduct until dismissal
Reduction in what is negotiable

Only than did you get the pay rise.

This time there are two good pay offers on the table , the issue is the things Royal Mail want us to agree for them to fund the pay offer.

That is currently holding up an agreement at the moment. There are red lines which the union will not sign up to.
