A few questions to Martin Walsh
How do we find out how much Ward, Pullinger and other members of the postal executive were paid in the year upto April 2020?
Have they received a pay rise this year?
Why is this information not on the union website?
Our subs pay their wages and as such we have a right to know how much we, the membership, are paying them.
From LTB 578/20 (CWU Accounts) (https://www.cwu.org/wp-content/uploads/ ... A-2019.pdf)
which came out on 2nd Dec , DW's remuneration for 2019 was as follows:

D Ward, General Secretary (Gross Salary) 102,316, (Employers NI) 12,011, (Pension) 28,673, (Other) -, Total 143,000

Details for other members of the executive are on there, TP is not.
So to put things in perspective, Ward received 6 to 7times more than most of the the people who pay his wages.
As for Pullinger..... I'm not surprised his remuneration is not in the accounts...... after all....... he is at times f*****g priceless.

Shouldn't they be paid on results? If so, they wouldn't have had a pay rise.

Shooting them is very harsh...... especially when tarring and feathering is an option.

Talks resume Monday , a 2 year pay deal is now on the table , negotiators spent the last 4 days in the talks.

Today the officers are taking through the issues in the talks to the Postal Executive and Field officials.

Better to do the right deal than a quick deal.
9 months is not quick certainly.
