An update on the crucial negotiations with Royal Mail Group.

Highest level talks continued this week on the future of the company and our members job security, pay, terms and conditions.⠀

There has been daily face to face meetings and progress has been made. This includes a new improved 2 year offer on pay, terms and conditions. ⠀
⠀
However, we also want to make clear that the union is very focused on securing an agreement that will shape the future direction of the company and provide our members with the best possible job security arrangements. Progress has also been made on these aspects.⠀

Today, we will be briefing the Postal Executive and Senior CWU Field Officials on the current state of play in talks.⠀
⠀
We were determined to conclude an agreement this week, but it is essential that we get this right. Progress has been made but we have simply run out of time this week. Work will continue over the weekend. Next week we are committed to concluding an agreement and communicating further with our Representatives and members.⠀
