I'm playing one of the most difficult movie quizzes on the internet right now. It's one where you guess the movie by the screenshot, but the screenshots can't be found using Google Image Search because they're taken by the quiz players' own screen capture software.

Hands down the busiest we have ever been. Does not bode well for the coming weeks.

For Tracked, take the average amount you get per day and triple it then perhaps add a couple of hundred onto that figure. That'll probably be about what you'll get through each day during the peak

The amount of tracked packets turning up, I’m sure there will soon be an hold on the mail, not enough hours or resources to deliver.

It's arriving in MCs by the pallet load (cardboard base on the top of the pallet and a cardboard "wrapper") at times, probably something like 1k on each pallet!

It’s certainly getting out of hand now. Had parcels for every 4th or 5th house today. A lot of our rural duty’s needed bailing out today as they had it even worse. About half way through today I had had enough.

It was so bad with parcels today it was in a strange way kind of liberating. Took all the tracked which filled the van and left 2 York’s of non tracked which were still sitting there when I arrived back 90 mins over my time. It’s just not achievable with this current workload, add the Christmas cards to this and things are going to grind to a halt.

What a horrendous week that was - went over every day despite cutting off the past two days. :cry

How do you manage to go over when you cut off?

Most of us just took the tracked parcels today & left all the mail & can not see much mail being shifted next week?

We usually clear everything in our DO but today went differently due to the mech not arriving at its usual time plus one or two posties went sick. So in the end we just did parcels & small packets so Monday will likely be a bit messy. One of the posties might have a broken arm so that will put us behind for the rest of the run up to Xmas.
