Yep today was mad and if today was a sign of the Christmas to come then god help us. It’s about time the union came out and said something now the silence on all the issues they are discussing is f***ing disgraceful. If I see one more video of Dave ward in his bunker talking about how he understands how hard it is out there I’ll bloody scream.Postmandan17 wrote:Today was absolutely f***ing mental. Christmas is gonna be unbelievable. How much is it gonna take for everyone to just say "f**k this" and refuse to work? Everyone has their breaking point and there's not much Royal Mail can do, we live in a horrible consumer culture and people are too far removed from the process of them getting their cheap plastic s**t for them to stop buying. Unfortunately with so many people being out of work or out of work once the furlough ends, RM would have a very long queue of people willing to take your jobPostmandan17 wrote:Today was absolutely f***ing mental. how many of them would be able to make it past Christmas time and at a time when RM parcels will be at the highest in history?SpacePhoenix wrote:Unfortunately with so many people being out of work or out of work once the furlough ends, RM would have a very long queue of people willing to take your jobPostmandan17 wrote:Today was absolutely f***ing mental. Absolutely shite day. Packets are at Black Friday levels already, and to top it off an agency worker prepped my frame which is nearly all double slots, and flipped the letters on the back slot the opposite way around. Didn’t notice until I got out on delivery, f***ing nightmare to say the least.

The usual Xmas equipment shortages have started early. Probably the larger MCs hoarding equipment

What would make someone do that? I mean it would take twice as long to prep. Who the hell told em to do that?toonshola wrote:Absolutely shite day. They'll have a plan for Christmas right? They must have a plan. They always have a plan! We'll go home on time (aka early) and you can stay out into the night. That's the normal plan.k979aaa wrote:It was busy but it will get a lot worse this year than any year in the history of Royal Mail mark my words you aint seen nothing yet!
