I think it is sad that our union has not managed to include the new CDC scheme into the RMPP.
As members pass away the RMPP will have less and less to do and eventully be out of a job.
A whole new pension scheme and administration is to be set up, why not use the expertise of the RMPP and maintain jobs there? Very poor.

According to the latest report and accounts, the RMPP currently has total membership of 124,157, which is divided up as follows:
Employee members – 80,158
Deferred members – 18,288
Pensioner members – 25,711
I'm sure the folk in Sheffield will be kept busy for a while yet.
