I always thought it was just me doing something wrong! Good to know others have the same issue.
I actually love the little Peugeot vans, a lot here don’t like them and favour the Fiat Doblo but they have a much better turning signal, far easier to handle, I’ve never had one break down on me and they don’t need regenerating.
Can’t stand the Doblo’s, on 3 occasions I’ve had the engine cut out while driving which is scary stuff when the wheel lock comes on and you’re struggling to steer it. Luckily each time there were no cars in front.

The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

The state of the vans are more to do with the drivers who would rather ignore faults then report them cant be filling in forms when you can be going home.

Must admit I'm a bit guilty of this if it's just summat very minor.cpsteve wrote:The state of the vans are more to do with the drivers who would rather ignore faults then report them cant be filling in forms when you can be going home.
Problem is, my van will then be off the road for a while and I'll be given a deathtrap, filthy, unhygenic skip-on-wheels reserve van. Well f that!

We all guilty for sure, i drive lots of vans and the usual driver does not report minor faults leaves bands and 739s all over the floor never cleans it at all. in the last month ive had three vans with bald tyres that i refused to drive until changed so if you get one you think is a death trap do not drive it its your licence.sindba wrote:Must admit I'm a bit guilty of this if it's just summat very minor.cpsteve wrote:The state of the vans are more to do with the drivers who would rather ignore faults then report them cant be filling in forms when you can be going home.

Yeah, about those rubber bands, we need to make sure that pets don't pick them up or this sort of thing could happen:cpsteve wrote:leaves bands [...] all over the floor never cleans it at all.
