I suspect that they are simply shielding from their members. They have certainly been socially distancing. It seems that we are viewed in the same light as Covid19.

Thankfully no news yet - you just know it's going to be crap, they are just busy planning how they are going to polish this turd and declare it a great result just like the last 'cusp of something special'.

They somehow managed to get nearly 90% to agree to that woeful agreement, so suspect the sheep will vote for whatever plate of tripe arrives this time.

My local rep is only interested in the plight of those oh so precious full-timers who have have been here for decades.

Waiting to see the latest hotch-potch of a deal before stopping subs. Cmon CWU show us you're worth our subs every week.

Not sure what I’m dreading more, the details of any agreement which will shaft us no doubt or the Facebook live w*nk fest that Terry and Dave will hold.

Would that be the 4 pillars. I voted NO!! also, all smoke and mirrors. I had a feeling it would be ripped up in front of our bare eyes and i was correct.

Some proper bitchy posts , some of you want a running commentary of the talks . How about wait until there’s an announcement and judge it then .

You don’t get it do you?? We live in an era where everyone knows best and could do a better job at something than the actual person doing it. Wonder how many on here who constantly criticise the CWU leadership would even consider putting themselves forward as a rep? Not many, but I bet they constantly moan about their rep and what they should and shouldn’t be doing. Easy to do when you’re not the one actually dealing with things.

i dont think it will be a big announcement  , they will offer a small golden carrot and some posties wont see beyond that as always , and we will be shafted as the company will get what they wanted from the start but just another way of doing it ,which by the way we voted to stand on the street twice against . , so its Ricos plan part 2 . :no no

I don't think you do to be honest.
The CWU isn't a charity helping posties out of the goodness of its heart. It's a business with profit and loss and customers.

How it conducts itself is very much the business of those customers.

We can't all be reps and we shouldn't be expected to want to be in order to receive a decent service but we are all expected to cough up our subscription.... and that is coming from a rep of 20+ years.

If you silence criticism the only form of protest people have left is to leave the union, do you think that helps anyone?
