I really hope not. Could it be that people have held off buying online in light of the high street reopening? Or could it be that the penny has finally dropped and people have realised they may not have a job to go back to? Does make you wonder. We still had a fair few packets still but nothing compared to what we have had. Letters were almost non existent.

Could be a lot of Chinese stuff coming through shortly. Don't know if you've seen on the news that new container ship that's just arrived, its huge, just under 1/4 mile long!!!!!
I did see that ship. Gigantic! Great news for us if allot of that finds its way into our network. It also makes you realise the level of shite we all get through and thats just one ship! No wonder the planets f****d.

Strangely quiet on the letters front (but then we had an unsequenced second wave on Sat), plenty of parcels though still, albeit brought more back today than I can recall since lockdown started. But then more people went back to working for a living today. Made catching up from Saturday's cut-off easier than I was expecting. Hopefully tomorrow isn't going to be a mare to make up for today!

Normal round for me today. Quiet(er) than it has been but nothing near as quiet as some of you have had!

There is mostly no profit in delivering those small Chinese packets. We get about half of one penny in postage for each one.

Weve got all the BAME staff saying that are the most important people during the pandemic and they should have their pick of hours and walks to suit their needs in my office.

Yeh, It seems like Monday was an outlier. Yesterday and Today have been fairly busy. Still lighter than it has been but more normal busy. No D2Ds either so once they are back it will start to feel even more normal I imagine. Even started lapsing! I seem to be the only person who comes in later to aid social distancing as well. We have such a crammed and busy office they must be all over each other in the mornings rushing around.

Two days worth of mail, HCT was rammed, had to get another full HCT's worth dropped off to complete.

Fell.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
