- Helios Towers PLC on Monday said Sally Ashford, current chief human resources officer at Royal Mail Group, has joined the Helios board with immediate effect.
Ashford will be designated non-executive director for workforce engagement at the Africa-focused telecommunications infrastructure company. She has been chief HR officer at Royal Mail since June 2018 and joined Royal Mail in June 2015.
Before she was at Royal Mail, Ashford held "a range of senior HR roles" across 13 years at Spain's Telefonica SA.
Helios Chair Sam Jonah said: "We are delighted to welcome Sally to the Board. Her extensive HR and telecoms industry experience will make her a valued member of the team, and we look forward to working with her."
Helios Towers shares were up 4.4% at 167.00 pence early Monday in London.
