Mad busy week. Taken a fair bit of abuse from customers this week which hasn't been great. I swear people are going potty the longer they stay in lockdown. People having ago that I didnt knock/ring the doorbell when they were clearly out in the back garden and didn't hear me. Doing my head in! :arrrghhh :arrrghhh

Customers are if anything more friendly and polite than usual in the current situation. One of us received a bit of verbal regarding the magazine D2D we have delivered twice now that focuses on the virus and where it originated from. I think its widely acknowledged that the likely cause was cross species food contamination involving live and dead animals in China followed by eleven million Chinese leaving China on or around February 14th.

Working next four days on very hilly/steppy jobs and forecast is for temperatures of 23-25 each day. Today likely to be earliest finish ill have all week, probably looking at being out on delivery between 9:30 ish to 2:30-3 rest of week. Really dreading it.
Monday isn't so bad at end of round as it's cooling down by 5.30 lol.

For the most part customers are being friendly but I am noticing an increase in agg. Iv had alot of people say things like "Oh I didn't hear you knock" as to suggest I didn't knock when clearly they were out back and couldn't hear. Maybe just an a coincidence that I had two abusive incidents in one week. Lets see how this week goes...

IF the new method of delivery was designed to make our lives easier, and I don't think it was, it continues to make our lives more difficult. I ended up going over delivery time both on Saturday & Monday although by a far larger margin on the Monday.

Stitched up today. Moved off a walk I've only failed to clear once over the pandemic period (their fault) and put on one that had was 2/3rds three days post and 1/3rd one days post (supposedly, I have my suspicions)

No dog attacks for a while, but that's probably because they're having a good time boating. Damn, that bugs me! :thumbdown

Yeah I feel you, whoever attempted the walk on Friday brought stuff back. I would say I took great satisfaction throwing it all back in, getting out late, getting back on time and bringing back even more than was left for me. But the screws don't give a f**k if it's done or not so.... We shall see what tomorrow brings.

Totally slammed today. And my feet were aching by the time I returned to the DO. There was a truckload of letters on my walk.

Absolutely dead today. Quietest day we have had in a long time. I don't know if there were failures or if it was just dead. Tomorrow will tell I suppose.

Could be a lot of Chinese stuff coming through shortly. Don't know if you've seen on the news that new container ship that's just arrived, its huge, just under 1/4 mile long!!!!!
