Nra60 payment date

Hello, can anyone tell me when one is expected to get ones nra60, is on one one after your 60th birthday?

If you have filled all the relevant documentation and sent them off you should get payment at the end of each month.

My NRA60 date was mid March 2020 and I will get my first monthly pension payment at the end of May. I got my lump sum at the end of April along with 70% of my arrears. The process started mid November so has taken 6 months to date.

I think that I have now finally reached the end of my NRA60 journey 6 1/2 months after it started.
My first payslip arrived yesterday and true to their word Capita have paid my first monthly pension payment today along with the balance of my arrears which they held back in April for tax purposes. The only thing that sticks in my throat a little is that I have already paid £400 tax on my pension this tax year but this was to be expected as when carrying on working full time you pay tax on your pension at your basic rate.

Do you have to send them your p60 or anything or is tax just automatically deducted?
Also do you get separate payment slips as it were as even the nra 60 is paid mostly by capita but also smaller amount by rmpp?

I sent nothing to the HMRC as the pension administrators do this.
I got 3 payslips this week. One from RM for my pay, one from Capita for my RMSPS pension and one from the PSC for my RMPP pension.
As you say the RMPP part of NRA60 is a pittance about £7 per month after tax. In fact I just treated my wife and daughter to an fancy ice cream this lunchtime and I am already out of pocket.

I am curious why the RMPP bit of the pension at 60 seems so small for Section B members. Even allowing for taking the maximum lump sum. A colleage of mine in Section B gets about £93 a year from that bit. And that seems to fit in with comments here. My RMPP for those two years in Section C works out at about £750 a year. I haven't reduced my pension to take any lump sum from it. And of course don't get a default 3 x pension lump sum. But even so the difference does seem strange!

The Section B NRA60 pension is paid from what you have accrued to the end of March 2010. All of this falls within the RMSPS pension scheme which runs to the end of March 2012 and is paid by the Cabinet Office. The RMPP pittance is something to do with annual increases which the RMSPS are not accountable for.
