There is mention of if one is divorced I seen somewhere,
Is there a requirement to prove one is divorced?
I got my divorce back in and around 1985, I don't have the papers, but at that time I think I had to wait 3 years seperation and applied for it myself. There was no solicitors involved. So do I need a copy of decree absolute to collect my pension? Thanks

I just called pensions, they told me unless there was any settlement regarding pension then I can keep my details as they are. Which is true as there were no settlements discussed, only just started work at the time, had a few pennies to my name in those days :)

Make sure your ex isn't named as a beneficiary on your death. There are forms you can fill on the the RMPP website: https://www.royalmailpensionplan.co.uk/ ... ts/library" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Links to all RM pension related websites are here
