A local postman turned into a superhero when he stopped traffic from passing to allow a family of ducks to get to safety.
Onlookers on Ryland Road in Welton saw him stand in the middle of the road to alert drivers and ensure the duck and her ducklings could get across onto the pavement.
All the ducks made it safely and are no doubt trotting along with their day as normal now thanks to this secret saviour.
In these unprecedented times, it’s great to see that solidarity amongst one another doesn’t begin and end with humans.
It may not feel like much at first, but this man potentially saved lives today!
