It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

I'm one of the few remaining computer techies that still work for RM.
The Chesterfield branch of Unite/Amicus CMA covers all the IT staff that were sold off when the Post Office got rid of "iT" about 5 years ago as well as the admin staff and managers in two admin buildings, a DO and a vehicle services unit in the town. So as well as having members in most bits of RM, we've also a fair few in CSC and Xansa.
