clawback

Post by RobertT »

Some company pension schemes do use clawback! There pension will go down when they reach state pension age. While some pay out proportionally more in the years before state pension age, and then reduce it afterwards.
The exact details will depend on the scheme.

RM don't do clawback!

But if you're in section C you will get the pension supplement, which is payable when taking your pension and leaving the company and until state pension age.
You could say that is a form of clawback, but in practice it's an integral part of the benefits and is covered in all annual illustrations, plan guides, etc and therefore shouldn't be a great shock to anyone.
