Hi could anybody point out step by step how i cash in on my free shares as I'm planning on leaving royal mail and want to cash in before I go?!

Sorry, that would be a vast post as there are too many variables and different circumstances to take into account.

I have 268 shares locked in current status but as off 12th April i have 167 locked in and 101 conditional , Does this mean i can only sell the 101 conditional ones ?

Yes. Income tax and NI will be payable.
