Not needed, I prefer to be anonymous, giving a complete stranger your details sounds like management entrapment to me.

As I understand it the whatsapp group is just a way of the cwu getting info out qui kly and not a chat group like this one for opinions and "entrapment" .
It was, after all, the area cwu rep that recommended it so I would hope it's not a thing to be scared of.
I admit I'm not sure of these facts though so stand to be corrected by anyone who KNOWS different.

Yes you're correct,I've just "subscribed" to it by sending my details as a WhatsApp message and I'm now receiving updates,no it's not an actual WhatsApp group as you can't reply etc, it's just a way of receiving latest info alerts from the CWU.billypants wrote:As I understand it the whatsapp group is just a way of the cwu getting info out qui kly and not a chat group like this one for opinions and "entrapment" .

So its a whatsapp group where only admin can post stuff. I've taken myself out of most of my "friends" whatsapp group as they send too much useless crap. Might sign up to this one.ted_e_bear wrote:Yes you're correct,I've just "subscribed" to it by sending my details as a WhatsApp message and I'm now receiving updates,no it's not an actual WhatsApp group as you can't reply etc, it's just a way of receiving latest info alerts from the CWU.billypants wrote:As I understand it the whatsapp group is just a way of the cwu getting info out qui kly and not a chat group like this one for opinions and "entrapment" .

Is the procedure to join the group still the same as mentioned in the second post? GBWhatsApp APKOr is there any changes?
Have a look at this link to the CWU website

It explains what to do

Re: Whatsapp group
The WhatsApp group's purpose is efficient information sharing, not for discussions like this one. Recommended by the CWU rep, it shouldn't be feared, but corrections are welcome if someone knows otherwise.billypants wrote: ↑08 Sep 2019, 20:32As I understand it the whatsapp group is just a way of the cwu getting info out qui kly and not a chat group like this one for opinions and "entrapment" .

Re: Whatsapp group
Sure! A great method to keep informed about news and meet like-minded people is to join a WhatsApp group. Simply provide your phone number to the group administrator or a member of the group and ask them to add you. Enjoy the advantages of group communication while staying informed.fm whatsapp apk downloadbillypants wrote: ↑06 Sep 2019, 17:30Can someone please enlighten me as to how we join this whatsapp group that I keep hearing about? Sounds like a good way to keep up with any news.
Thanks.
