Hello planning on leaving royal mail in about 8 month's time and will have paid in about 1 years contributions to the pension plan wondered what happens to the monies I have contributed thanks

If memory serves me correctly you're in the DC scheme?

If so, you can do 3 different things with it:

1. Leave it where it is.
2. Transfer it to another DC scheme either with a new employer or set up by yourself.
3. Access the money if you're over 55.
