LONDON (Alliance News) - Royal Mail PLC said Chief Executive Officer Rico Back purchased nearly GBP615,000 in stock through two deals on Thursday.
In the first transaction, Back bought 200,000 shares at an average price of 207.4968 pence.
The second transaction saw Back acquire 100,000 shares for 200p each. It has not been disclosed how many shares Back now holds following these transactions.
Shares in the FTSE 250 postal service group closed 11% lower at 197.90 pence on Thursday.
You say that but I was considering purchasing 100 000 shares at £2.07 until I realised I don't actually have 200k to spare.

The boss of a company, cuts the share dividend, the shares fall on their arse and he starts buying...
I don't think the dividend was cut so Rico could buy cheap shares,it was done so more money could be invested in the company to help us compete.
Also it was expected by many City analysts that the dividend would be cut.

Compete show us the money more like he drove the price down invest £1.8 billion in paying poor managers off and spend the rest on PSM and other kit to reduce head count while he benefits at great cost to us all.
