As far as I know the meals out with free wine doesn't happen anymore. Used to be a certificate and a badge for 10 and 20 years but now it's just the badge. On 40 years it's a badge and you get to choose something from a catalogue. 30 years is a badge and maybe choosing something from a catalogue.

I got £100 voucher and a poxy 'Dear Colleague' printed letter from Moya. I did get an invite for the dinner some 2 years after would you believe. It took place just over 50 miles from where i live. No travel expenses. One free drink only. Told them to shove it.
Expect crap and you won't be disappointed.

i received the badge for 20 years and thought that was it but a year later i received a letter inviting me and my wife to a meal at a hotel in the city where there were people with 20, 30 and 40 year service, that was just a few weeks ago. There was beer and wine on the table too.

my partner is older than me , and is really concerned he'll be retried befor he gets his 30 years vouchers ,
don't let him see this , as I think he might not make it , as he's looking rough ,can I cash any vouchers in towards a funeral ?, it should cover it. :

I know this perhaps this isn't the right site but I don't respect royal mail as my partner broke her leg in work and was told not to report it as an accident in work. Disgusting.
