Christmas casuals?

Roughly how before Christmas do RM started recruiting casuals?

I think they start the process about now, check RM website (www.royalmail.com) there is a link for recruitment, or just phone your local office, you never know the management may be able to help.
(I've just read what I have written, chuckle, chuckle)

I saw the guy who deals with the xmas recruitment in our area, he said that all our xmas casuals have been recruited and are awaiting start dates.

I hear that everybody now has to be like RM's rubber bands and have "elastic" qualities... they have to be flexible and s-t-r-e-t-c-h to earn a decent living???

RM usually start advertising around the end of September/beginning of October for Xmas Casuals. Interviews and tests take place during October, and they start around the first week of December. They have probably recruited all they want for this Xmas, but it might be worth contacting them on the offchance they might still have some vacancies.
