Hi. I am a deferred member who turned 60 on 15 February 2019. Because the last benefit statement I received was in September 2018, I asked when my pension would be revalued. This is what I was told by Nigel.Wilford@RMSPS.co.uk:
" ...the benefits are revalued annually and 15 February 2019 falls within the same year as 9 April 2018 . As a result the options when they are paid will remain the same but the pension will received a full years revaluation on Monday 8 April 2019. In addition a pension increase to your lump sum should be paid to you on 8 April 2019 based upon the number of months between 9 April 2018 and your 60th birthday."

Pension increase 2019
Pension increases are applied in April, but inflation figures for the previous September(released in October) are used.donnybro wrote:Hi all, just looking for any info on what/when the pension increase is due for 2019. I started to take my NRA60 in Feb2018 and haven’t seen anything since then. If anyone has any information that would be great as don’t fancy contacting Capita just yet! Thanks all
The relevant figures for this year are:
CPI - 2.4%(section A/B)
RPI - 3.3%(section C)
