We had the National Trust magazines on Thursday and Friday. I think more people have subscribed to the NT since last year.
We had a 50 page wetherspoons magazine. Really heavy and bulky :arrrghhh
We've got these this week, plus three other d2ds. Horrendous bags, trolley hard to get up hills!
Sooner or later, a beat dog bites.

It's probably known that you genuinely unwell. Management is more concerned about 'sick club' members.

Covering a duty for the week, returned from day off to find the d2d I had kindly run up, counted out and put in the frame for my day off cover hadnt been done. First guy at the frame decided they didn't want to do their fair share of the d2ds and pulled them out and threw them to one side they were then put on another walk and their replacement was also put on another walk within minutes, third person by this time has no idea what has happened previously, can't seemingly read the start and finishing addresses on the bundles of d2d and can't find the sheet with what has previously been delivered. Then decides to deliver less than a third of their allocated amount of d2d missing out any difficult bits like blocks of flats. I walk in next day and lay my hand on the d2d sheet within 2 seconds of arriving at the frame and people were puzzled as to why I was almightily f****d off.

TL: DR lazy incompetent bastards the place is full of them. Head or gut?

I would just do the remaining days left for the d2d's and what ever left ain't my problem.

I am PT and my frame is partially prepped when I start at 0830. I came in and started to get on with prep and it was quite heavy. I got asked to cover a driving route for first time and ended up on overtime to complete that route which I didn’t mind.
I was about to head out the door to go home and went past my usual frame that I do that I was asked to stop prepping in the morning and it the mail had been prepped but there were sacks of mail and it seemed a tiny fraction of one row had been taken out by someone.

If I go in tomorrow and it hasn’t been done what do I do? It’s too heavy to ever have a chance of catching up and it will be a nightmare to even try and prepare in that level of volume.

What is the process? I know I can cut off but it still have to be prepared.

report it to a manager, fed up with people not doing d2d properly and screwing other people over.

Been left with a load of d2d as spares. Not a dissimilar amount to the 2/3rds of the daily d2d allocation not done on my day off plus a similar amount we suspect weren't attempted on my partners day off. Suspected con artist doesn't like doing d2d on Saturday but won't even deliver their 1/6th per day never mind the 1/5th it would take to clear by Friday. Partner will monitor more closely from now on.

I've been in the same predicament, too. And when I reported the huge pile of D2Ds under the frame to two managers and the head manager, I get told by all of them that they'll "look into it." Instead, nothing gets done. I just leave it at that because after I report the problem it's no longer my issue. It falls on the managers who were supposed to look into sorting out the D2Ds when I'm on a day off or covering another walk.

And those who do actually deliver the D2Ds but don't mark what loops they've completed on the D2D Walk Control Sheet? Arrrggghhh! :coolr

I always thought it was standard practice to do a vertical column per day. Then if the D2D are only delivered to address points that had letters you will see markers as to which column they did. I agree though if there is going to be confusion then it would make sense to make a note on the D2D sheet.
