From reading various threads it looks like the main cause is water getting into the battery compartment so RM need to improve the seals around the battery

That is probably it. I put my PDA into my belt holster but my coat is too short to cover the top of it, therefore the PDA is left exposed to the rain which is getting into the battery compartment.

Well, that was the heaviest day so far this Christmas, a big effort was made to clear the sorting backlog overnight and this morning which made it very heavy on delivery but the good thing now is there is hardly any "Carry-over" for tomorrow. Which can only be good.

Nearly there!

One Last Push.

Not a bad ol' job really!

Aye. Probably heaviest day so far today. Lots of parcels but we get the feeling there are still a lot of Xmas cards in the system that haven't reached us yet. The other day the MC was apparently only sorting the outward mail & not the inward Xmas cards.

Today was fun. Walked in to fined half my walk got brought back. Got out about 10.40 done all my tracked and specials. Posted first letter at 12.05, went over 30 mins and brought back 6 loops out of 11 :nana . There is no way on earth it's all going to be cleared by my finish time on Christmas eve :left:

Busiest day so far. Like the previous poster we did our specials first - all 43 of them :left: . We are still delivering Amazon so that accounted for the bulk of them. Didn't post the first letter until after 11am. Brought back half of the delivery for tomorrow. Went up the town later and saw one of my colleagues just back off delivery at 5.50pm

Was told to deliver all parcels and if need be leave mail in frame. So left 6 loops in frame and spent 3 hours driving round to clear the parcels. Then a 1hr and 30 mins to do the 4 loops I took out. Got back to the office to a clear frame. :nana

Yesterday there was a duty in our office that had 52 Specials. Just happy it wasn't mine!
