Brown stuff is gonna hit the fan down our way.

Rep had a meeting...............................
£3.47 for london weighting :no no
Possible 7 O'clock starts :no no
Nights and a drive to possibly go :d'oh!
Some of our Offices in SE Lon going through the wars.
The next 2 Months are very crucial,London could be out,and the likelihood is ALL of us could be as well

I forgot to mention team working, you know, the system that most countries have thrown out in the workplace.
Plus claw back hours because of the light Tuesday.

Exactly as we thought. No movement from management. They still wants 13 walks out, all nights gone and late starts from 7.00am.

However, we have heard that Mid Yorkshire will be balloting the whole area if they try to force late starts without agreement in any office. Apparently that may also be a national stance.

Locally we have decided we want no walks to go, it appeared unanimous, so a strike looks more likely than ever.

What i don't understand is,after the SDD the walks were all put up to 3-30hrs the business wanted 4-hrs+ the union put a stop to that.
Now that has all gone out of the window, losing more jobs means longer walks,i can perhaps understand(a little bit) about the nights in some offices.
But why the hell are we negotiating to lose more jobs to make the walks longer.
Why has this been allowed to happen where is the union head office in all this.
This shouldn't of even started!!
And when the new sorting machines come in it's going to get even worse.

i think i can reply to that i asked my rep about our bonus since nobody else could give me a clue he told me he didnt know but how many jobs did i want to loose since then he has managed to negotiate from 8 jobs to go up to 21 and still no reply about the bonus although we cant have it because jobs transferred to a mail centre dont count as jobs lost just moved although when this all started according to our dom this would go towards our 600hrs target infact it would cover it how times change
i have mentioned before about the visit from our area rep who told us to go along with geo route because it is brilliant at the time we were going to loose 8 out of 13 walks thrown up as possibilities now its 21jobs and the union wants us to go on strike after a recent meeting
as for the sdd most of the walks were put together by 1 person per area doing the best they could but the targets for cuts were smaller therefore each dept could keep more walks plus these duties included travel time pouch collection time and pouching of time all of which have been removed to 3 1/2 hrs pure del
so we have union reps who cant agree amongst themselves a head office which is only interested in who gets what job next which hotel with perks they will be negotiaing in next and publicity doesnt leave much room for those what do you call them er erm oh yes the people who are supposed to be having their best interests looked after the MEMBERS
