The 'pensions contrib. pay' is the amount of your wages that your pension payments are based on. A figure of just £6.87 is a bit random, so if there aren't any pension deductions on your payslip, then I wouldn't worry too much.
On a separate note, why aren't you paying into any RM pension? Even if you've already taken your NRA60 & NRA65 you can still pay into the RMDCP.
By not doing so, you're giving away a lot of free money from both RM and the government.

You can't rejoin the RMPP if you've opted out or taken your benefits, but you can join the RMDCP administered by Zurich. Details can be found here.
You may have already been auto-enrolled into the RMDCP at some point? If so did you opt out?

Yes you should be able to, as this Pensions Advisory Service info suggests.stodgy88 wrote:You may have already been auto-enrolled into the RMDCP at some point? If so did you opt out? yes ,can I rejoin ?
Get in touch with RMDCP people and ask. Their contact details are in the plan guide I linked to in my previous post.

How does the Zurich scheme compare to the cash balance scheme we currently pay into?RobertT wrote:You can't rejoin the RMPP if you've opted out or taken your benefits, but you can join the RMDCP administered by Zurich. Details can be found here.

Had a look at their website but unable to access it fully for some reason.
Are the % figures that rm pay into it any different to what they contribute to the cash balance scheme?
Does the scheme provide a lump sum and/or pension? Can you "cash in" so to speak at any time or age?
Thanks in advance.
