Dear Colleagues,

RMPFS Limited: April 2018 Pay review

Discussions with RMPFS (formerly Romec) on the 2018 pay review commenced in March. A number of meetings have taken place since and the Postal Executive has rejected an offer of a consolidated increase in basic pay of 2% as insufficient.

In addition to a more substantial increase in basic pay there are a number of other issues which we are seeking to address, including overtime rates for cleaners, harmonisation of engineering standby/call out rates and future pension arrangements.

Discussions are continuing, and an improved offer is being sought. Accordingly a further update will be provided to Branches in due course.
