Do we need a choice to stay in a transitional arrangement ?

Post by stephen500 »

I have less than 3 years to go. The proposed new scheme is vague . Will it go up or down. Will it provide me with any certainty it at all in retirement? At least with the DBCB scheme once that years lump sum is locked in, that appears to be that. I think we should be given the choice to look at the DBCB temp scheme and if it suits us, stay in it. With 3 years to go, I am not sure a complete new scheme is worth the trouble. As for others with much more service to do, a lot more needs to be explained about the new scheme.
