Yodel driver carelessly throws 56 pounds worth of champagne flutes into customer's porch - and it's all caught on CCTV

This is the shocking moment a Yodel courier threw fragile packaging into the porch of an unsuspecting customer.

Jonathan Rial, a doctor from Winchester, ordered two packs of 24 champagne flutes on Amazon.

He was shocked to discover on the courier from Yodel throwing the fragile glasses over on his home surveillance footage.



The driver walks up to the open porch and chucks the box in, ignoring the fact the content is fragile and easily breakable.


Dr Rial contacted the Yodel via private message on Twitter when he saw the footage but received no response.

After he publicly shared the video, a Yodel representative privately messaged Dr Rial and asked him to email them the footage, but he has received no response since.

In the video the delivery driver is seen carelessly chucking the box on the ground with no regard for the £56 worth of glassware inside.

Luckily all 48 glasses were in tact, which Dr Rial thanks the 'great packaging' for.

A Yodel spokesperson said: 'We are contacting Mr Rial to apologise for our driver's behaviour.

'The safe delivery of parcels is our absolute priority and we are disappointed to see this driver breaking our strict protocols and will be taking appropriate action.'
