CWU FOUR PILLARS OF SECURITY CAMPAIGN BULLETIN NO. 29

Further to LTB 662/17, attached is Bulletin No. 29 concerning the Four Pillars of Security campaign.

The attached Bulletin has also been shared with Divisional, Regional and Area Representatives, as will all future Bulletins.

As previously advised, it is imperative that every Branch ensures that each Bulletin is forwarded to Unit/Local/Shift Representatives via email and if necessary by physical means without delay.

The co-operation and assistance of all Branches in this regard is greatly appreciated.

You are quite right, nothing has changed, they are just sending out these bulletins,but it's just waffle, what we want to kw is when are you going to finish waffling and give us something to vote on.

Absolutely. Outs relies on several people who do an extra half or full delivery EVERY day because we have been understaffed for years, This leads to much friction when any of them are on leave or sick as the management suddenly decide that the traffic is low and extra duties should be lapsed etc.

The area manager, we are told, sees no reason to recruit new staff because the office is being cleared everyday.

our office is short of bodys and has been all year due to people leaving and ihr, and not being replaced , but I meant xmas is even worse ,

to true , and ia would have brought it down a lot quicker. then maybe they would employ more staff and take the pressure off the rest of the staff. wishful thinking

all of these bulletins but absolutely zilch on info about what's happening. Terry Pullinger was adamant there wasn't going to be a blackout of comms to the members, but that is exactly what has happened. wtf is going on Tel? why can't we be kept informed and up to date.

Terry needs to pull a trolley around for a few months and do lapsing ,argue with the management over there lying of the actual mail volumes then he'll see the real issues that need addressing,
