Interview

Post by mike543 »

Hi, applied for postman with driving on the 1st October, did online tests etc, got interview on the 12th October, told at interview i did really well, 3 times, i would be made an offer and to check my emails on the following Tuesday as they were interviewing on the Monday and to complete the security checks quickly as no hold ups can occur. Email on Friday, Unsuccessful.
This job has been advertised about 2 times since July and another comment on Facebook by someone to say that 18 people were interviewed last time and no one got job.

Whats going on here.

They really are f***ing useless at this, sorry.
Where was you interviewed ect?

As much details as possible if you could, can't promise anything though.
This seems to happen a lot.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Shouldn't happen at all, some people might quit there existing job on what they were told, i didn't. Really unprofessional. i have never experienced anything like it before. Don't want to post where on the internet, not wanting to worry other people that may apply to this depot in the future. I may follow other channels so this doesn't happen to other people.

You could always try justsayit@royalmail.com and tell them everything.
It's an employee helpline type email address.
