uniform ordering

I start in just over a week, :dance and have my uniform order form. I am wanting to order it before I start so that I hopefully don't have to wait long after starting until it arrives. The form asks for my payroll number though, which i don't have as haven't received my contract yet. Do you have to have it when you ring up?

You can't order nothing for 3 months as a rule, wait till you start and see your workplace coach/manager for more info.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I had my welcome day today and ordered my uniform when I got home. It's a basic uniform until you've been there 6 weeks then you can order the rest. You do need your payroll number though.
