I worked for RM for a couple of years about 9 years ago but moved onto a better paid job. I would like to return and have applied for a post in my local office but having applied previously a couple of times this year without even an interview I am imagining I am wasting my time.
As the manager at my local office has changed since I worked there is there anything to gain by going in to the office on Monday to introduce myself etc? Does the manager have any say on who gets shortlisted or is it all done by HR?

Former Postie Wanting to Return
Nothing ventured nothing gained so I wouldn't say it's not worth a try. Being new to RM it seems to me that applications are all online now but hey go for it
