Hello, i recently attended an interview, i was notified that i passed and had been put on a waiting list and supplied a link to apply to any other jobs in the same field via priority and without having to do all the tests again.
Fantastic i thought to my self, as a position that day in my local town had just opened up as the exact same postie role i interviewed for only closer, so i applied for it noting that the closing date was not for a few more weeks expecting to hear back about a week after that as i did after my initial application and interview.
Once i had applied i received the standard automated email, complete this test within 24hrs yada-yada however both the email it's self and the interview passed email had told me to ignore this part as it is of course automated and i do not need to retake them.
Much to my horror this morning however (the closing date for applicants) i checked the status of my application and it changed to unsuccessful 24hrs after i applied for it (presumably because i didn't do the tests), am i worrying over nothing or is the system bad at updating it's self and a human element would have caught this?
Thank you, -Hannah

Application Error/bug?
Yeah i saw that post but it seemed like a different scenario, i never received an email saying i had been unsuccessful, it just seemingly automatically changed to it after 24hrs.TrueBlueTerrier wrote:Another poster had a similar situation https://www.royalmailchat.co.uk/communi ... 56&t=82249" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; all resolved.
