Started off well with being told by a member of the public that I'm the best looking mail person she has ever seen (think she needs glasses) and a customer telling me that I'm brilliant :chuckle :thumbup :dance
That's excellent, what a great start to the day! Bet you had a skip in your step for the rest of the walk!

Complete contrast to a woman on my first loop yesterday who yelled at me that there was no need to beat her bloody door down, despite me knocking it quite reasonably just the twice. And I'm pretty sure I heard a couple of quite rude words as she snatched the package and slammed said door in my face.

I kept smiling throughout, but foresee many red coloured pieces of card on the doormat of her future.... :chuckle
Yes I did. I was also called a sexy postlady by another woman later on :chuckle. So in all it was a good day :chuckle.

Aw, that's not nice at all. Some people just want to take out their bad mood on others and use any excuse. :thumbdown

Felt like I was at a funeral this morning with the atmosphere in the office. The rumoured 24th+25th Nov walkout has everyone up in arms against the union, loss of a days pay/Christmas being the time you make your money etc. They don't want Royal Mails proposals, yet don't want the Union to make a stand against them. :arrrghhh I know for a fact quite a few have already asked to book those days for annual leave.

Terrible. I got grilled for saying I could only work my hours today. Got asked why I need back on time, I felt like i'd done something wrong.
I usually don't mind going over since i'm only part time and it bumps up the wage a bit but i'm tempted to just work my hours from now on. My duty is impossible to do in the time i'm under contract on.

They gave us Double absorption today,we all got out late due to late arrivals from MC,then when we came back at our finish time they expected us to throw off the absorption we all brought back into the frames..........In our own time :left:

The way we are treated the only wonder to me is that only 90% voted for strike action..
