Transferring SIP Shares

hi, when is the three year period up so i can transfer the share to somebody else, i cannot find no info on it anywhere?

I believe it is possible to transfer your shares out of the SIP and into your own name after having them for between 3 & 5 years. But tax and NIC’s would still be payable just as if you were selling them. You could then transfer them to someone else if you wanted to. I suggest you contact Equiniti and ask them.

But it’s probably easier and more cost effective to wait until the 5 years are up.

We’ve been given 4 batches of free shares off RM. Two of those have already hit their 3 year anniversary. I’m sure you can find out the exact allocation dates of all 4 batches if you search this site.
