At last week’s Annual General Meeting (AGM - see jargon buster) shareholders approved the final dividend payment of 15.6 pence per share for 2016-17.

This means eligible full-time employees with the maximum allocation of 913 Free Shares will receive more than £140 as a final dividend payment this Friday (28 July). In total, they will have received around £209 in dividends for 2016-17*.

Eligible part-time employees will receive a dividend based on their pro rata allocation of Free Shares. If you have received a dividend, it is being paid into the same bank account your salary is paid into.

By 28 July 2017, eligible full-time employees with 913 Free Shares will have received almost £645 in dividends since privatisation**.
